Hey?! You look confused! Why? Oh your parents just died... yeah about that, it was probly from DABS. You haven't heard about that? Oh my... well sit down, let me tell you.
Barshollow, this is where it began, was a town everyone knew, but then it seemed to dissapper off of all the maps, and no one cared right away. However, once they started getting sick they put two and two together. Why though, was it taken off the maps? Let me tell you; sit down, it will take a while.
The disease Decomposing Adult Body Syndrome (DABS) was first seen in the town of Barshollow when 84 year old Chirsten Anthems decomposing remains were found in her room. Sadly she was still alive and was taken to Cliff's Hospital where Dr. Eric Takway was her doctor. He found no cure and she died two days afterwards with no remans. Soon many more people came to the hospital with the same problem.
No one knew what to do with the people and many panicked and ran out of town. That would be how it got to the real world, but I'll tell you about that later. Anyways, once Cliff's Hospital started getting full and all those poors kids started losing their parents, the government stepped in. They ordered a lock down of the whole city. No one could leave and no one could come in.
They hired the worlds best surgeons and doctors to help them out. Of course they couldn’t solve the problem and many more just kept kicking the bucket. And just as fast, many more were getting it and the orphanages just kept filling up. No one knew how to help.
But here comes the fun part. As all of the doctors were trying to fight it at Barshollow, another person, this time a 40 year old man, got it. His kids found him without a face when they got back from their grandma’s house (he didn’t go with them). He was rushed to the hospital there and died a week later. But the damage was done. The world had it and they sure weren’t ready.
Meanwhile, back at Barshollow, the children weere going through horrible changes. Each and every one one of them began to get powers like superheros. Only it started with the twisted kids. Each one got a power and each one tortured the ones that didn’t have them.
Then the other kids got them and they taught the twisted kids a lesson. And it ended just like that. They went on with their lives. Only the twisted ones every so often would sneak up on the others and hurt them badly. This went on for a long time before they all grouped together. The “good guys” and the “bad guys” each one pertained their members but they didn’t have territories like animals. You just got beaten if you met up with the other side… unless you didn’t know that they where on that side of course.
Back in the real world, LA, New York, and all the big cities were dead. All the small ones, dead. Everyone was dead but the kids, and once they hit 25 years old they all got the disease. It wasn’t pretty and it still isn’t.
So that’s the story! It's still going on, but I just thought you would want to know before you hit 25 years old. I can bring you to where it began. Come on follow me!
