Grazingstar woke up to a sound that was oh so familiar to her Clan of BatClan. It was the sound of flapping wings out in the camp, and she just laid her head back down, not really caring about the little creatures, unaware of the new danger that lurked within their bites. The bats flew around BatClan camp, going into every den from the nursery, to the elders den and bit every cat in camp, from the smallest kit to the oldest elder. There was only one left and the swarm went into Grazingstar's den next. She woke up now, realizing the sound was louder than usually and saw the swarm in front of her, staring her directly in the face. She let out a yowl as they flew towards her and bit her as they did everyone else and she fell unconscious.

As the leader awoke, there was a new sense of purpose flowing through her bones, one that was never there before. She padded out of the den and noticed the others were already started to wake from their nights as well and they all just stared at each other, afraid of what had occurred. Their fur was gone and the where bumps all over them. Their skin had a tint of green and their eyes were a bloody red, the bats had transformed them into something that was uglier than anything they had ever seen. However, they felt a large strength running through their veins. The bites had brought forth greater strength, wits, and a greater sense to kill. It had also sharpened their senses and something they didn't notice till later, they had grown double the size of any normal cat. It was as if the new BatClan was unbeatable...
